Zero – Emily Dickinson
A one woman performance by Nanette Perrotte that illuminates the poetry, life & times of Emily Dickinson. The original script written by Sebastian Lockwood & Nanette Perrotte and original music composed by Perrotte is a performance rich with a hybrid of theatrical styles: live music with a three piece acoustic rock band, monologue, acapella vocals & multimedia. This is a performance that portrays Dickinson as a fully empowered poet living in the white hot heat of her creative fire with other female greats of her time: Charlotte and Emily Bronte, George Elliott, Jenny Lind, Helen Hunt Jackson, Mabel Loomis Todd and Susan Dickinson.
